Client Commission Arrangements (CCAs)

Client Commission Arrangements (CCAs) enable clients to obtain best execution with Goldman Sachs and accrue commission dollars in order to pay 28(e) eligible research and brokerage providers. As with Commission Sharing Agreements (CSAs) in the UK, they encourage a more level playing field in the valuation of research.

Goldman Sachs also offers two additional CCA programs that are designed to meet clients' specific needs: Research XPRESS and the Introducing Broker program.

Research XPRESS: Research XPRESS is a program designed to facilitate the consolidation of execution and the provision of third party research at Goldman Sachs. Research XPRESS enables the payment of hundreds of research providers including traditional vendors and broker dealers. Clients can leverage the program to independently assess the execution and research procurement decisions; further bolstering the ability to obtain best execution. Goldman Sachs 3RB relationship managers work closely with clients to ensure the program meets the individual and unique needs of each client.

Introducing Broker: Goldman Sachs has established correspondent clearing relationships with key research providers who act as Introducing Brokers. This program enables clients to optimize trade execution and credit firms for the research and brokerage services they provide.
